The other day, while visiting our son at his new house, he had a pile of trash on the porch from things that he had taken out. He had discarded a kitchen cabinet that he did not have room for. It was a new cabinet but he had to smash it to get it out. However, the drawer was intact. So I took it.
I have some antique items on display in my basement and I had been wanting a display case to put some of them in so the dust wouldn't settle on them. I had sheets of plexiglass in my workshop and had been wanting to make a case. I figured I could use the drawer for that purpose.
So, this blog shows the building of that case. Now that I did it, I'm thinking that I need to find some more drawers.
